‘DHARAVI ROCKS….With Abhijit Jejurikar!’

DHARAVI ROCKS is a joint educational project between Acorn Foundation, an NGO & Blue Frog music club working for the welfare of slum children and Rag-pickers. Dharavi Rocks mission is to give slum kids a voice by initiating them into music, bringing positive and happy creative experiences into their lives and create a bond between communities…

Creating music out of all the waste material like Drum barrels, Coffee shakers, Paint Cans, Plastic boxes and all other type of junk stuff that can be found in the slums emphasising on the concept of Recycle, Reuse & Respect.

ABHIJIT JEJURIKAR is the music teacher & active volunteer at Dharavi rocks. He teaches them music in such a way that it helps children realize the hidden musical talents and helps further nurture these talents to create opportunities for them in future.

Super workshops of Dharavi Rocks with International bands, Musicians & Actors. experts; so far Dharavi Rocks has performed at various College events, festivals, corporate events, Fund raising NGO concerts and Social Rallies across India.
