MUSICIAN RAGHU DIXIT….Thinks Aloud…!

Raghu Dixit!  Indian singer-songwriter, producer, and film score composer based in Bangalore, India. He is most famous for fronting the Raghu Dixit Project, a multilingual folk music band.

Raghu Dixit’s unique brand of infectious, happy music transcends age, genre, and even language. Its amazing to hear how his music is strongly rooted in Indian traditions and culture; yet has a very contemporary, foot tapping global appeal to it..! From playing to over 100,000 people in his home state to every big music festival in India, from Glastonbury, to the BBC to even playing for the Queen of England and the entire Royal Family, Raghu Dixit has truly come a long long way..!

Like he rightly says- from playing in the foyer at the Kalaa Utsavam (Esplanade)  to their concert hall this year the journey and the wait has been absolutely worth it!

In Singapore recently for the Indian Arts Festival -Kalaa Utsavam; Raghu Dixit got his big break from music director duo Vishal-Shekhar.
