Ranjit Barot (born around 1955) is an Indian film score composer, music director, music arranger, drummer and singer. He is a longtime associate of A. R. Rahman.[1]
He has been described by guitar legend John McLaughlin as “one of the leading edges in drumming”, and is now part of John McLaughlin and the 4th Dimension.
Background music composer, lyricist, music director, sound designer, playback singer; Ranjot Barot dons many hats and is ace at each one of them..!
Having been closely associated with U. Srinivas & his family; him being a part of Mandolin & Beyond is definitely a very interesting dimension to the entire show.!
